Karen


We are staying at Karen's place right now, blocks from downtown San Francisco.  She was here when we got here, but on Monday she flew to Columbia to visit a friend.  Karen has given us permission to crash on her floor for the next few weeks, until we fly out.

    Hello Chance,
    I miss you.
    Did you know that there are Asiatic Lions in India? They are in the Gir forest sanctuary in the State of Gujarat. Only 240 left. you should go see them and take pictures.

    Luke! Ava! I miss you both! Thanks for the news about the Asiatic lions. That reserve sounds like it has a lot of rare species under protection... I would love to go and try to see the Asiatic lions, and other species of animals and plants to boot, but I also worry about taking part in further invading and destroying the habitats of the very species' which, through my overabundance of 'love,' I am going to see. This is something I will definitely be looking into, at the very least. I am very much attracted to lions.
    I hope first grade is treating you well, Luke. Ava, keep up the amazing artwork! This blog actually has a shortage of original art... If you drew a picture that could somehow be emailed to me at chancemail@gmail.com, I would love to put it up on the blog! This goes for you too, Luke. I would really appreciate it. This blog needs something other than endless pictures of the same two scruffy ruffians.
